Went to watch the Clippers/Cavs game at Staples Center today. The Clippers were so close to winning, but they blew it the last 5 minutes of the game. Labron is just too much of a beast.
Many of you know how much I love Michel Gondry. And I was so incredibly stoked to be at a sneak peak of Tokyo! last night. I only expected to see the film, but Gondry was actually there and spoke a bit about his portion. I loved it...naturally. But Bong Joon-Ho's portion is my favorite of the three... Great mix of quirkiness, and you'll definitely see this in my dvd collection.
I do believe I will feel all the muscles of my body tmrw morning. It was my first time snowboarding, and I had a fantastic time! I was super SUPER scared ay first - on the ski lift and at the very top of the mountain. But halfway down, I got the hang of it, fell countless times, and found that boarding backwards-ish (facing the mntn) works for me.. The soreness I feel right now are: my lower back, my ass, my knees, and my ankles or feet... Next time I go again, I'll make it a goal to learn breaking on my heels and getting up back to the mntn. Weeeee!
I saw this squirrel on the way back from lunch one day. He was just sitting in the grass looking cute, and didn't seem scared of me at all. I took out my cell phone to take a picture and even got up pretty close, but by the time I took the pic he was just snorfing his whole face into the grass, like he knew it was going to end up on the internet and he didn't want to be recognized or something.
these are the toilets at my work... and everyday I'm in there I think WTF. there's no such thing as a semi-automatic push button! you either have to push it or you don't. and you know what, you have to. you can't just WILL the toilet to flush.
Went to Canter's Deli for the first time on Sunday. It was the first time I had heard of it, even though it's been serving up delicious sandwiches and Jewish food to normal folk and celebs in LA since 1931. Prices can be a bit steep as two sandwiches and an appetizer can cost you over $30, but it's worth a trip!
With foiled plans for the day, I decided to take a long walk to Trader Joe's. It's approximately 1.8 miles from my place. Approx. 4 miles there and back. My legs were jelly by the time I got home, and now my knee sorta hurts. Oi! But what a nice day it was in Los Angeles...
Taking pictures got easier. Whether you are in New York, Los Angeles, or a small town in the middle of no where... taking a picture on your own cell phone can turn out beautiful...
