Canter's Deli, Los Angeles

Went to Canter's Deli for the first time on Sunday. It was the first time I had heard of it, even though it's been serving up delicious sandwiches and Jewish food to normal folk and celebs in LA since 1931. Prices can be a bit steep as two sandwiches and an appetizer can cost you over $30, but it's worth a trip!

Ice Cream at Anjin

Orange sorbet. It was actually in an orange.

The green tea was sooo good.

Ice Cream

There is a place in Fenway that serves gourmet ice cream from NY. I don't get it but people in Boston feel stuff in NYC is better like pizza, bagels, and ice cream. The place was Emack and Bolio's and the ice cream was really good. I got chocolate addiction and something that tasted like peanut butter infused with chocolate. This is pretty much pure heroin for you stomach.

Update: I just did some research and its actually based in boston along with JP licks, and Ben and Jerry's (also new england).

Sausage fest @ Wurstkuche

Friday, January 30th, approximately 915pm: in a failed attempt to get KOGIBBQ over in Silverlake, some friends and I decided to go with the original plan: Wurstkuche. This is some sausage place in Little Tokyo. Pretty random spot, and kind of hard to find. But we found it... and after some deliberation in my head, I didn't end up trying the rattlesnake. I had Mango Chicken and Turkey sausage instead. It was still good, and their fries are awesome. Go try it.

Chef's Salad

This is at Hoagies and Wings in Sherman Oaks. I recommend the hoagies and wings. Also, for all you poultry fans, they make a mean chicken hoagie. And, if you enjoy having your tongue burned off, the suicide wings are awesome.
