This is the famous Kogi Taco Truck, parked, at least tonight, on Eagle Rock Blvd. My friends and I got there at approx 11:15 and waited over and hour before we got our food. It was a long wait, but well worth it.
First to grace my taste buds was tonight's Chef's Special, Pork Belly with dandelion greens and a sesame leaf. Light and tasty. Really good. It was very expensive at $5, but it was definitely worth trying at least once!
Second were the sliders, which, as you can see, pretty much looked like short ribs and mayo in a hot dog bun that was cut in two, but they were easily the best part of the meal! Although not cheap ($5!), they were definitely some of the best things I've put in my mouth for a long time.
The $2 (each) tacos. We have here the Kogi Spicy Pork, Kogi Short Rib, and the Kogi Chicken tacos. They were really good too, but you have to remove the 2nd tortilla from each taco, or the flavor isn't as good!They also have kogi dogs (hot dogs) and a kimchi quesadilla, but unfortunatly they were already sold out.
They're a bit on the pricey side, but If you're ever craving a snack at night, it's definetly worth it to stalk this taco truck at least once. The website: http://kogibbq.com/
